Mentok Pyramid & Tsomoriri Lake (6300m/20,669ft) with Ladakh Nomad Expediton

We specialize in the Himalaya regions of Ladakh and Nepal and offer tours, treks and mountaineering including trekking peaks. Ladakh Nomad Expedition is run by friendly team from Ladakh who share a blend of maturity and experience. Our team of local Ladakhis based in Leh has been organizing adventure activities in various parts of Ladakh, Sikkim, Bhutan and Nepal for many years. We work very closely with Alan Ward (International Mountain Leader) who acts as our Technical Adviser and who will accompany this trek. We strongly believe in responsible and sustainable tourism that strives to minimize its impact on the environment, and to respect and benefit local people and their cultures. We are native to the mountain regions of the Himalayas so can safely organise treks, peak climbing trips, mountaineering and expeditions for our worldwide clients. The Himalaya is one of the youngest and highest mountain systems of‚ the world and the name comes from Sanskrit hima ('snow') and alaya ('home'). Trekking in the Ladakh Himalayas is a real delight as the area offers a blend of scenery, cultures and a wide range of adventures with far less people than might be seen elsewhere in the region - a true trekker's delight! From established trail routes through classic valleys to remote restricted regions with untouched culture, Ladakh provides a unique richness not found in any other country of the world. Trails often wind through varied altitudes, climate, landscapes and cultures. Its people, culture and the environment are sure to inspire you in every way. Treks follow traditional trails linking the high mountain villages using locally owned teahouses where our activities will help to boost the local economy. The small groups are led by experienced and certificated (by UIAA) guides at an adjustable pace to facilitate acclimatization at high altitude. As the founder of Ladakh Nomad Expeditions, Rigzin Tsewang has over 15 years of relevant experience. During this time, he has represented local and international companies and organisations with clients from all backgrounds and with different abilities.
