About Us
Logistics is simple, but not easy

Every year, we offer expeditions to iconic peaks like Nun and Kun, as well as off-the-beaten-path journeys in the Eastern Karakoram and Siachen Valley. Additionally, our cultural tours immerse travelers in Ladakh’s rich heritage, from ancient monasteries and traditional villages to the lifestyle of Ladakh’s nomadic Changpa communities. With our extensive guiding experience, we emphasize low-impact travel that supports local communities and preserves Ladakh’s pristine environment. Whether you're aiming to conquer a high-altitude summit, explore remote nomadic trails, or immerse yourself in the region’s culture, we customize each experience to ensure it’s both thrilling and respectful of the environment. At Ladakh Nomad Expeditions, we are deeply committed to sustainable adventure, collaborating with local communities, promoting environmental education, and supporting projects that connect travelers to the rich heritage of the Himalayas.

Echoes of Tradition: The Cultural Heritage of Ladakh and Leh
The cultural heritage of Ladakh and Leh is a rich tapestry woven from centuries of history, spirituality, and resilience. Known as "Little Tibet" for its strong Tibetan Buddhist influence, Ladakh is home to ancient monasteries like Hemis, Thiksey, and Alchi, where vibrant festivals, elaborate masks, and colorful rituals celebrate its unique spiritual legacy. This land of high passes also hosts a blend of Tibetan, Indian, and Central Asian influences, reflected in its architecture, art, and crafts. Traditional Ladakhi festivals like Losar and Hemis bring communities together, showcasing folk dances, music, and rituals that have been passed down through generations. Alongside Buddhism, Islam also holds a significant place, especially in Kargil and surrounding areas, highlighting the region’s harmonious coexistence.

We met Rigzin in 2010. We were lucky enough to become friends and to be able to host him in Italy. A guide, a person, very good, attentive and passionate. He knows the territory and culture of his country very well. Rigzin is truly a trained and professional guide! With him you will fall in love with this unique country!

I’ve been lucky enough to work with Rigzin on a number of occasions. He is a true mountain professional and a pleasure to work with. Our last trip together was of a corporate nature for a senior management person from a very large international organisation. The trek was a huge success and this is down to Rigzin for planning and management of the trek. Rigzin is highly recommended. If you’re thinking of visiting Ladakh then Rigzin is the person to contact and make your dreams come true.
